continued... So how do we move beyond the little ‘I’ or small self, and discover the big ‘I’, the expanded higher self? This occurs through intention and practice. Intention to connect to the higher self and embody its true nature. Its nature is who we really are. Everything else is conditioned. The higher self can be known through its thought processes, qualities of being and feelings experienced.
Simply we are in the process of embodying the higher self when our thoughts become expanded, creative and inspired. Our mind produces elevated and pure thinking processes. These are highly intuitive. They are clear and focused. They are not limiting or judgmental. Our feelings become joyful, playful, peaceful and loving. The qualities our higher self produces are unconditional, accepting, forgiving and compassionate. We aspire to know the truth, to gain wisdom and knowledge. We are willing to heal and restore true wellbeing. We become empowered and courageous, constantly filled with trust, faith and gratitude. Fear begins to dissipate and our self worth becomes strengthened. Life really becomes magical once again.
So as we evolve into the remembrance of our authentic nature, we begin to embody more of who we really are. We draw upon the unlimited well spring and resources that reside deep inside, embodying an ever expanding realization of the higher qualities of self. This sets the stage for an extraordinary life to occur.
An extraordinary life does not just happen. It is a creative process that draws from our life blue print -
Recently I was reminded of Archbishop Desomd Tutu, a truly courageous powerhouse of change. As a child he inspired me greatly and seeing him once again brought those memories flooding back. I was reminded that he chose at a spiritual level the role of change maker. For he has been a great catalyst for transformation in South Africa. To survive the incredible dangers, that he and his family faced, he had to embody and project a great capacity for love and compassion. He embraced the higher qualities of the human spirit, rather than accepting the lowest, most base and fearful qualities expressed all around him. He held those qualities aloft, as a great torch bearer, so that those all around could choose to embody them also. Today he continues his legacy through the Desomd Tutu Peace Center.(http://www.tutu.org/)
This is a man living an extraordinary life through the embodiment and expression of his higher qualities. He expresses the qualities of courage, forgiveness and compassion. He is an example that clearly shows us the way. He reveals that we can also fulfill our souls’ blue print for this life. For it is the natural way. It’s what really feels right and true to you. It does not mean you will stand upon the world stage. It means taking absolutely responsibility, and becoming the creator of what really is right for you. And the result of your right choices, lead you along a path that is truly beyond the ordinary, moving ever higher into the extraordinary -
So take up the gauntlet now. Decide to live a life that is most extraordinary for you. A life drawn from the expanded ‘ I’ and higher self. A life that fulfills your purpose for being in this life. Remember there really are no rules. You have all the tools. You came here to do something quite wonderful. To help others along the way. To be a torch bearer of what can be. It is only those limits, fears and judgment that continue to hold you back. Choose to set yourself now free, and step onto the path to remember what you came to be. A being that embodies great love and compassion. A being of true inspiration and creativity -
